Urinary incontinence is further categorized into four types: stress incontinence, urge incontinence, overflow incontinence, and functional incontinence. The type experienced by most aging people is functional incontinence, wherein they cannot get to the toilet on time because of some physical disorders. On the other hand, stress incontinence takes place when the bladder experiences pressure. This can be in the form of physical exercise or simple laughing and coughing.
